Having just returned from a delightful stay at Hôtel du Lac, I can't help but rave about the relaxing gourmet experience it offers with a lovely view of Lac des Barriousses. The continental breakfast served each morning in the dining room was a true delight, setting the perfect tone for a day of exploring the picturesque surroundings. The hotel's setting is truly idyllic, just in front of the Bariousses Lake, perfect for fishing or a refreshing swim. We enjoyed our cozy room with a balcony overlooking the lake - a real sun-trap which we found perfect for unwinding after a day of hiking and kayaking in the area.In the evening, the chef treated us to tasty cuisine with traditional, local flavors that left us wanting more. The Hôtel du Lac also offers guests the chance to enjoy a game of billiards and unwind at the sun terrace with magnificent views of the lake. To top it all off, the seasonal outdoor hot tub was a luxurious touch, allowing us to soak in the serenity of the surroundings.
